An avid team builder with exceptional communication skills, Coach Mel Moore exhibits an uncanny ability to encourage, motivate, and propel folks into their destiny.

 

Coach Mel Moore has empowered youth through the sport of basketball for over 25 years. He’s known for the saying, “TEAM - together everyone achieves more." A saying that materialized on and off the court for his teams throughout the years. He consistently built teams with "underdogs” that claimed AAU championships across the nation.

 

Coach Mel is best known for his ability to relate and connect deeply. His relational approach to coaching has made him impactful, relevant, and shaped the lives of hundreds of people. Leading with empathy, he reaches the most inner parts of a person’s soul to speak life-giving words.

 

He’s senior pastor of Fortified Life Church, where he shares practical teachings from the word of God that arm God’s people to advance the kingdom. And the founder of Coach Mel Moore and Properties & Moore. When he’s not diving into the word of God, facilitating a business transaction, or preaching a sermon, he can be found on his couch watching a movie with his wife - Shirley, son –Jordan and dog - Myra.
